Obenshain's Positioning

Frequently mentioned as a possible candidate for Attorney General (at least here in the Valley), Sen. Mark Obenshain takes on crime and judicial issues his second session in Richmond. Sen. Obenshain toes the party line and does not make waves when he introduces legislation. Whether these bills are enough to increase his "law and order" street cred, I don't know. It still appears that one must be a former prosecutor to make a serious run for AG. While that makes no sense considering the AG does very little criminal work, it does force those interested in the office to "take a bite outa crime."

Bills Sponsored.

Bills Co-Sponsored

Well, Sen. Obenshain has taken a lawyer's approach to legislation. Good bacth of bills combined with bills that will raise his profile among the Republican activists. Let's see what he does next year.

"No rapists or child molestors adopting children. Adds to the growing list of people who a treated the same as homosexuals." great observation VI! Sad and funny at the same time...

Yes, the CCC recognition is a good thing too! I always thought MO was a Roosevelt Democrat!

I guess because Chichester makes tough decision based on what's best for the State, something O-been-chain is too wimpy to do/

The entire Senate commended Chichester for a recent achievement. It's standard procedure.

A big sa-da-tay to my main damie Valley Iconoclast for the great insight into how our local legislators are representing us. Democracy in action baby. Why doesn't the DNR do this?
